All over town fruit trees laden with avocados, mangoes and starfruit are ripening and starting to drop their bounty. Although the avocados and mangoes are sold in the markets by the tons, starfruit—called melocotón here*—is one such fruit that most Nicas don’t particularly like (so I’m told)….
