From Chris Flowers: On today’s walk we visited some of the fields around our town.
Because of the way land was divided up after the break up of the Soviet Union, most families have space for a garden at their homes or in a plot outside three town or village. Most Moldovan families I’ve met grow grapes for homemade juice and wine. Here someone decorated their vine rows with the colors of the Moldovan flag.
